5 Methods on Meditation

Meditation is now familiar to most of us. However not everyone knows all the variants. These simple overviews give you a glimpse of the oldest systems of creating peace within our busy lives.One of these methods may suit you. You really only need to find 5 to 10 mins each day to gain great results.
Inner healing is a type of prayer therapy that is used to resolve important root issues and heal the emotional basis of one’s illness to restore the spirit and the mind which is damaged by various forms of traumatic experiences. There are different ways to experience inner healing and below are some of them:
Meditation
Meditation is a type of discipline used by a person who desires to get beyond the "thinking" and "conditioned" mind into a deeper and more concentrated state of awareness and relaxation. It is recognized as an element of many religions and is said to have been practiced all over the world for more than 5,000 years now.
Different meditative disciplines envelope a wide variety of psychophysical and/or spiritual practices which may focus on different goals from achieving a higher state of consciousness or awareness to greater self-awareness or creativity, focus or simply a more peaceful and relaxed frame of mind.
According to some who have been practicing meditation for their inner healing testify that they have enjoyed so many benefits from it; physically,emotionally and spiritually too. Some of them are:
It reduces the use of oxygen. It lowers the breathing rate. It increases the tolerance for exercise in heart patients. It increases the blood flow while slowing down the heart rate. It leads a person to experience a deeper level of relaxation. It lowers down the blood lactate level thereby reducing anxiety attacks. It builds self-confidence. It reduces emotional distress
The above were just few of the many benefits of practing regularly.
Guided Meditaion
Guided meditation is the act or practice of leading one’s imagination to a particular journey with the intent and purpose of achieving realizations and healing through a purposeful reflection and contemplation. The idea behind guided meditation is to free any thought a person has to allow one’s subconscious mind to heal deep within through the words that are spoken. Guided meditation started after meditation as a discipline has been recognized to become a great way to achieve inner healing. Some of the common benefits one may get from practicing guided meditation are as follows:
Deep relaxation is achieved. Negative beliefs and emotions are released. Results can be that you replace negative thoughts in your mind with more self confidence and higher self esteem.

Shaman Meditation
Shaman Meditation is based on the practice of Shamanism which has been a traditional knowledge for more than 100,000 years now. Shaman is known as the keeper of a traditional healing body of knowledge. Shamans were the first healers who were responsible for the community’s well-being and health. Through the so called "Shaman meditation", the Shamans enter the non-ordinary reality and connect their power animals and power sources. Some of the benefits a person practicing Shaman meditation are as follows:
It heals the body, mind and spirit, It integrates the body, mind and spirit with its healing process. It makes a person symptom-free as without any symptom; then everything in a person is well and free. It doesn’t only deal with physical illnesses; it also extends his/her powers to influence the community problems as well as emotional dysfunction and interpersonal relationship.
Zen Meditation
Zen meditation is the central part of the Zen practice and is known in Japan as "zazen". This meditation practice originated from the Zen Buddhism. Zen practitioners assume a sitting position like half-lotus, lotus, postures or Burmese.
One of its goals is to regulate a person’s mind and this is done by directing the awareness towards watching or counting the breath or putting one’s breath below the navel in the energy center. The benefits of the Zen meditation include the following:
It takes a person to the state of absolute emptiness and stillness. Increased level of concentration even in the presence of distractions. Greater calmness and awareness. Improvement in mind body balance. General health improvement.
Buddhist Meditation.
There have been many basic teachings that appear in many areas around the world talking about the teachings of Buddha. Certainly, Buddhist meditation exists based on the practices Buddha, being the man. The concept of Buddhist meditation aids in the bringing out the true nature of one’s mind which is peaceful, clear and expansive. Our minds are often so busy that we are caught up in a never-ending stream of thoughts leaving us tired and agitated. By practicing Buddhist meditation, we can experience the following:
Find the peace of mind Become happier Develop wisdom
By meditating, each one of use can finally understand the very nature of reality that we can actually develop an inner peace experience as well as the happiness that we always have regardless of external circumstances.
Healing from within is what we need in our busy lives. We have everything yet at times we are depressed, tired and anxious. What we need is the inner healing that would clear all the roots of our suffering. How wonderful for us all to learn how to heal from within.
Peace is an inner state that is achievable to us all through the practice of Meditation. Peace and Joy are the natural states for all Human Beings. Meditation is a great tool to enhance this aspect of being a Human.
Meditation enables the individual to create a state of peace within. It enhances the inner consciousness and creates a funnel for the subconscious to emerge.
