For instance, imagine someone who grew up being forced to believe that they were an overweight loser. That person would then suffer from a series of weight problems and low self-esteem, which in turn would lead to a life of few friends, missed opportunities, and significant unhappiness. How did this happen? It happened because that is what the person believed would happen.
It all starts with the power of your subconscious mind. You can convince yourself that you deserve nothing just as well as you can convince yourself that you deserve everything you want.
Once you sit down and tell yourself that you deserve to get what you truly want, then you’ll soon start to get it. Look in the mirror and tell yourself, “I deserve that good job, I deserve to be happy, I deserve a good house, nice car, and everything else!” and truly make yourself believe it, you will soon find yourself receiving it.
The whole idea of these things becoming a reality may seem a little far-fetched, but it’s not. How can simply believing that something wonderful will come to pass actually happen? Well first, you have to sit down and think about what you want.
Try making a list of what you want. Make a list of everything, from what you want to look like to everything you’ve ever wanted to have. The next step is the simple one: Make yourself believe that you are the person on that list.
Harnessing the power of your subconscious mind in this way is actually quite simple. Focusing your mind on believing things that aren’t yet a reality is an effective technique that has worked for millions of people. This method shares similarities with the law of attraction, which also involves the same fundamental practice of believing that you have already met your desired goals.
But why does this power work? Because it makes you change! Remember back to all those times you put yourself down and expected the very worst. They all came true, didn’t they? When you concentrate on bad things, and feel like you deserve bad things to happen to you, you don’t put yourself forward for the good things in life. You are going to push people away with your negativity and by concentrating on the bad, you miss the good.
Like everything else, you will have to be positive and practice using the power of your subconscious mind on an everyday basis. At first, it may seem a little difficult, but that is only because you need to give yourself time to familiarize with the concept.
In almost no time at all, you’ll find that your entire state of mind has completely transformed into something much more positive. By using the power of your subconscious mind to change your outlook, you’ll arrive at a life full of positive people and new opportunities, and ultimately achieve the life you’ve always wanted.
