A lot of people don’t believe that it’s possible to communicate telepathically. Despite the widespread skepticism about telepathy, the idea of being able to communicate mind-to-mind as well as the concept of mind control are things which have long had a grip over the human imagination. For centuries, people have experimented with telepathy and written about the topic extensively.

As it happens, all of us communicate using telepathy sometimes. For example, you’ve probably picked up the phone intending to call a friend when they call you before you can even finish dialing their number. You may have also had the experience of knowing exactly what someone was thinking, only to have them confirm it when they speak. In some cases, this is just a coincidence, but these are such common occurrences that many suspect that there is more to these phenomena.

No matter how outlandish you may think the idea of communicating telepathically is, it is something you can do. As a matter of fact, everyone can do this; we’re born with this ability naturally, but it tends to wither away when it isn’t used.

However, it is entirely possible to relearn to use your telepathic abilities if you’re willing to put in the necessary time and effort. You can learn to do this on your own, though most people find it easier to do with an experienced guide.

If you are interested in learning how to communicate with someone telepathically, you first have to learn how to focus on something like this. Also, having someone to practice with is important. If you don’t have someone to work with, it is difficult to know whether you are making any progress.

Best of all is to practice with someone you know very well who is interested in learning to use their own telepathy. A person you’re already close to and have experience communicating with makes learning to “talk” telepathically all that much easier to do.

Try having one of you act as the transmitter and the other as the receiver, with both of you writing down the message you’re sending or what you seem to be receiving from the other person. Simple thoughts are the easiest to start with; try colors, shapes and other very easy to interpret thoughts as you begin.

The limits of communicating telepathically have not been found. People who can achieve this can sometimes communicate over very long distances.

You’ll need to be patient as you practice communicating telepathically. This is something which takes time and there’s more to it than simply bringing your latent abilities to the surface – you also have to learn how to control it, so regular practice and a lot of time and patience are necessary.

In a way, it’s like learning a second language. At first, it seems as if you’ll never master it and it’s easy to become frustrated but with time and dedication, it eventually becomes a natural means of expression as you gain fluency. When you have a friend to practice with, you can provide each other the support and encouragement you need to stick with it.

One way to keep motivated as you learn to communicate telepathically is to quit while you’re ahead in your practice sessions. When you and your partner have had some success but you’re not yet tired from the mental effort, stop. If you’re not having any luck, stop before you get frustrated; this will only make you want to quit. If you can’t make a telepathic communication in about 15 minutes of trying, then you should set it aside until later.

With dedication, regular practice with a partner and some guidance from others who have managed to use their own ability to communicate telepathically, you can develop your telepathic capacities. The rewards of being able to communicate with and understand others in an entirely new way are well worth the effort involved in learning to use this natural mental ability.
